FUNCTION
Phosphorus trichloride is a colorless and transparent liquid with a pungent odor. It is easily volatile at room temperature and can dissolve in organic solvents. In water, phosphorus oxychloride undergoes hydrolysis to produce phosphoric acid and chloride.
APPLICATION
Widely used in the production of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, dyes, phosphate ester flame retardants, and plastic plasticizers, as well as in the chlorination reaction of long-acting sulfonamide drugs. It is an intermediate in the production of dyes, a chlorinating agent and catalyst for organic synthesis, a uranium ore extractant, a solvent for liquid-liquid extraction in nuclear fuel reprocessing, and a phosphorus diffusion agent in the semiconductor industry.

Store in a dry, clean, and well ventilated warehouse. Avoid exposure to light and heat sources. Protect the product from leakage, rain, and sun exposure during transportation.
