FUNCTION
Colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas with an extremely light density of 1/14 of air. When mixed with air, its explosion limit is 4% to 75%. It is highly explosive when exposed to open flames, high temperatures, or electrostatic sparks. It is a strong reducing agent and participates in the reduction of metal oxides. Its boiling point is -252.87 ℃ and it is liquid under normal pressure. Its critical temperature is -239.96 ℃. It has strong diffusion and is prone to leakage and accumulation at high places.
APPLICATION
Mainly used for fuel cell power generation, hydrogen vehicle fuel, synthetic ammonia and methanol production, and reducing atmosphere protection in semiconductor manufacturing. Used in conjunction with potassium hydroxide solution for wafer cleaning and metal reduction. Protective gases used in float glass production.
STORAGE
Store in a cool and well ventilated dedicated warehouse, away from sources of fire, heat, and flammable materials. It is recommended to keep the temperature below 30 ℃ to avoid pressure rise caused by high temperatures. Store in separate areas with oxygen, chlorine, oxidants, etc. and do not mix storage.
