FUNCTION
Colorless transparent liquid (when high purity), may be light blue due to trace impurities, extremely high pH value (1% solution pH is about 13.5), need to avoid contact with acids, metals (such as aluminum, zinc) and organic matter, need to be sealed to prevent absorption of CO₂ in the air to form potassium carbonate (K₂CO₃), high temperature may accelerate decomposition, recommended storage temperature ≤40℃.
APPLICATION
Mainly used in battery industry, electronics industry, advanced detergents and cosmetics, all kinds of potassium salts, pharmaceutical intermediates, synthetic rubber, ABS resin and natural rubber emulsion, fermentation, paper weight agents, etc.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. The humidity in the warehouse is best not more than 85%, the packaging must be sealed, do not get damp. It should be stored separately from easy (available) combustibles, acids, etc., and should not be mixed, and the storage area should be equipped with appropriate materials to contain leaks.
