FUNCTION
Uniform thickness (0.5~2mm), good fluidity, easy to weigh and feed accurately, pH 14 (1% aqueous solution), need to avoid contact with amphoteric metals such as aluminum and zinc and organic matter. It is very easy to absorb moisture and CO2, and requires vacuum or inert gas packaging (such as aluminum foil bag + PE lining).
APPLICATION
KOH widely used in the production of K₂CO₃ (including K₂CO₃), advanced alkaline batteries, food additives,disproportionated rosin potassium soap, detergents, senior daily cosmetics, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium permanganate, pharmaceutical intermediates, liquid fertilizers, synthetic rubber, ABS resin, natural rubber emulsion, paper component, biodiesel, rubber additives, petroleum refining and sulfur removal.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. The humidity in the warehouse is best not more than 85%, the packaging must be sealed, do not get damp. It should be stored separately from easy ( available) combustibles, acids, etc., and should not be mixed, and the storage area should be equipped with appropriate materials to contain leaks.
